Kiyomizu Kannon doOn the third day in Tokyo, we started the morning with a visit to the National Museum: I have to say that the only thing that disappointed us about this trip was this museum. From the tourist’s perspective  there’s nothing to see and even if one were an history expert would remain perplexed as the quantity of objects in the exhibition is very limited. I had put it into the holiday program since many guides quoted him as Japan’s largest Museum. I personally suggest you to not visit it and use in a better way your time in Japan!

We then continued around noon with Asakusa, another of the Tokyo districts, famous for Sensoji Temple, the city’s oldest (built in the year 645). Beautiful entry portals, beautiful pagodas and the way that reaches the main building is very particular and full of small shops of local products and souvenirs for tourists. The main building was coverd externally for restoration works.

Part of the afternoon has been dedicated to another fast trip in Akihabara and toward evening we went to eat in Shibuya with an our Japanese friend.

In the night we made a leap to the Tokyo Tower: very impressive! (we haven’t reached the top of the tower because of the limited time available)
