Summer Holiday in Japan 2009 – Day 12: Fifth day in Tokyo

After the trip to Nikko, in the travel plans that I predicted I placed a visit to Hakone, around the lake Hashi at the foot of Mount Fuji (Fuji san), using no less than 5 different means of transport for the journey.
However, after a visit to Nikko of the day before I wanted to rest, so, while my friends followed the travel program, I’ve spent an entire day in the neighborhood of Akihabara.
The few photos that follow are of course those of Hakone, because I was in complete relaxation without a photo camera surrounded by shops in electronics, computers, toys, action figures and other kind of particular gadgets.
I must say that I enjoyed myself in that area, is a very quiet place that has awakened my Otaku side (and reduced the amount of money available…)
In the evening after the usual Italian-style dining at Ueno I made a ride in the adjacent neighborhoods on foot until about midnight wether two of us have walked through Shibuya.
