Judo Dinner at pizza (and restaurant) “La Margherita”
Last night, after my lesson in Judo, I attended a dinner with my fellow athletes in one of the typical pizza restaurant in my area.
In 90% of Italian restaurants on the table is placed a container with some bread sticks (grissini) to eat before the food you ordered.
For the occasion, having regard to the hunger I opted for a rich pizza but with vegetables so as not to weigh too much. What you see is a typical pizza of the local restaurant where I was and is called “Capriccio of Polesine.” In addition to tomatoes, mozzarella and oregano, contains: peppers (red and yellow), marrow, aubergine, two kinds of mushrooms (fresh and packaged), artichokes, asparagus and “Parmigiano Reggiano” cheese.
Overall, there is a very good pizza (the pizza in this restaurant is one of the best in the area), although personally I found not very digestible one of the mushroom types used (although you can of course ask to remove one of the ingredients during the order).
The pizza restaurant is located here:
